The CFedS program has been authorized by the Secretary of the Interior to enhance the delivery of cadastral services in Indian country.
The primary purpose of the CFedS program is to provide American Indian and Alaska native landowners, tribes, BIA and federal agencies administrating lands adjoining Indian lands with a roster of qualified surveyors, spevifically trained to provide boundrary services in Indian country. All the while assuring all cadastral services executed in Indian country are performed in accordance with BLM standards.
Joshua Bagley, PLS, CFedS is currently one of two hundred thirty four Federally Certified Land Surveyors in the Nation. Josh has completed a comprehensive training program covering all aspects of boundary surveys, whith special emphasis on the survey of Indian land. This particular area of surveying is highly technical and requires the expertise in real property law, public records research, evaluation of historical survey evidence, mathematics, statistics, measurement systems, planning regulation and current computer technologies.
